  • the bush must be kept in partial shade, as it does not tolerate sunlight;
  • the rose is susceptible to pests.

Use in landscape design

The variety in question is very much appreciated in landscape design for its decorative appearance. It is used both for large spaces and for decorating small flower beds. Anna Maria is combined with various herbaceous perennials.

Growing

This sort of rose requires some care. The following are issues that are related to planting.

Rosa Novalis (Novalis) - a description of the variety of unusual color

Planting roses is carried out by seeds or cuttings. Seedlings must be selected in March. A thorough inspection of the bush is required. There should not be rot on the roots, 3-4 shoots should be on the bush.

Important! Before planting, seedlings are stored in the basement, sprinkled with moist sand.

Before planting a seedling, the roots are soaked in water for 2 hours. To disinfect the root system, it is necessary to soak it in a weak solution of potassium permanganate for 30 minutes.

Seeds are harvested in late summer. The fruits are cut in half and planting material is taken out of them. Then for 20 minutes. it is washed in hydrogen peroxide. Seeds are planted both in the garden and at home.

The best time to plant is from May to June, before the heat comes.

The place should be sunny and protected from drafts and gusts of wind.

Important! It is best to plant this variety near houses and buildings.

Suitable soil option: loose, fertilized and clay.

How to plant a rose

How to land

To plant seedlings, you must:

  1. Prepare a pit 50-60 cm deep.
  2. Spill the pit with two liters of water.
  3. Fill it with a mixture of earth, sand and fertilizer. All in equal proportion.
  4. Plant a seedling in the soil 2-3 cm to the place of thickening.
  5. Tamp the soil near the plant.
  6. Make a mound for water to reach the roots.

For the implementation of seed planting requires:

  1. To plant planting material at home, it is necessary to lay it out between the substrate, which is moistened with hydrogen peroxide.
  2. Cover with foil and put in the refrigerator.
  3. In the refrigerator, they should lie for two months. If necessary, they need to be moistened.
  4. After ripening, the seeds are planted in pots. The first 10 hours they must be kept in good light.

Important! If you plan to plant seeds in the garden, then they are prepared in the same way.

Then in August they are planted in open ground. The soil should be loose and well fertilized.

Care

Hybrid tea rose care consists of watering, fertilizing, pruning and transplanting. Care for the rose is required carefully so that the bush develops well and blooms.

Watering

Rosa Pastella - Description of an Abundantly Flowering Variety

Watering the bush is rare, but plentiful. Enough once a week. Water should be rain or melt.

Important! When watering, you can not wet the leaves and buds.

After the plant is planted and during the period of active flowering, you need to water up to three times a day. In autumn, the rose is not watered, but this is possible only if there is no rain.

Watering should be plentiful but sparse

Top dressing

For bushes to grow actively, they must be fed with mineral fertilizers. Soil composition is improved thanks to organic top dressing. In the first year, the flower is not fertilized.

To prepare the rose for winter, they spray with potassium sulfate. For the first time, dry mineral fertilizers are applied in the spring. This is done after watering by scattering around the bush. Then everything is closed up and watering is carried out again.

After a week, a mullein solution is added. It is laid out near the bush, loosened and watered. After the appearance of the ovary buds make cow manure.

Important! You cannot fertilize bushes when an active flowering period occurs.

Pruning and transplanting

Pruning is done in early spring to prevent the spread of fungal infections. Cut short, leaving only a few kidneys. That which is circumcised is burned. Then the bush is treated with copper sulfate.

Formative pruning is carried out in the fall to remove excess shoots. If this is not done, then the bush will grow greatly.

The transplant is carried out in the fall. The bush must be dug carefully from all sides. When the root root is found, it must be chopped off. The bush is laid out on a large package. The future pit should be larger than the previous one.

Important! After planting, the rose is watered and mulched. Pruning is postponed until spring.

In winter, the bush is covered with dry leaves and pine branches. Top with earth up to 25 cm high.

It is necessary to carry out spring and autumn pruning

Bloom

Variety flowering begins in the second half of June and continues until the end of autumn. Care before and after flowering consists of watering, pruning and top dressing. It is also necessary to ensure that the bush does not get sick and is not affected by pests.

Rosa Red Naomi (Red Naomi) - a description of the Dutch variety

The reasons why, for some reason, the rose may not bloom for some reason:

  • low-quality seedling was selected;
  • the place is poorly lit;
  • poor soil;
  • the bush is deeply planted;
  • incorrect pruning;
  • poor winter insulation;
  • surplus or deficiency of fertilizer;
  • improper watering.

Important! To solve the problem, you need to transplant the plant and conduct proper care for it.

Breeding

Two breeding methods are used:

  • cuttings;
  • vaccinated.

Step-by-step instruction for cutting:

  1. Cut the shoots and divide them into cuttings 6 cm long. Each must have at least one kidney.
  2. Produce drying. The bottom section is sprinkled with a product that affects the growth of roots.
  3. Plant the stalk in the ground and cover with foil.
  4. Ventilate and water.
  5. Shelter for the winter. In the next season to grow or transplant.

The vaccination method is carried out in July or August. To do this, you must:

  1. The shoots, which turned one year old, are cut off pieces, 1 cm wide with three buds.
  2. Leaves and thorns are removed on the scion.
  3. In the middle part, a kidney is cut off along with the bark.
  4. Next to the dogrose they lay out the soil and expose the root neck.
  5. On the neck, a slice is made in the form of the letter T.
  6. Wrap the place of vaccination with film. The kidney should be open.
  7. Sprinkle the root neck.

Diseases and Pests

A common disease of the rose is powdery mildew. The reason for its appearance is considered excessive humidity. First, the plant is covered with mold, and then brown spots. All damaged parts of the plant must be removed and burned.

Powdery mildew appears white plaque

Among the pests of the rose, there are: caterpillar leaflet, moth and green aphid. When caterpillars appear, chemicals are used. Also, the bush can be sprayed with a solution of drinking soda twice a week. The course of treatment is carried out from spring to the end of June.

Green aphids are fought with a soap solution. They produce spraying of leaves and stem. A bar of soap must be boiled in 10 liters of water. Further insist for 15 minutes. The procedure is repeated after 7-10 days.

In order for the Marie Ann variety to please with beautiful flowering, appropriate care is necessary. When diseases and pests occur, urgent measures must be taken.
